The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Monday, April 22, 1907
Mrs. Emaline Gibbs, aged 87 years, died at 10 o’clock Sunday morning at the 
home in Orange.  She was the widow of John M. Gibbs, and one of the pioneers 
of the county.  Funeral Tuesday from the Portland Baptist church, interment in 
Portland cemetery.
