Ionia Weekly Standard, 5 Apr 1895

The funeral of Delos Gibson was held last Sunday morning from the residence of 
his son, W.W. Gibson, and thence to the M.E. church in Easton.  “Uncle Delos,” as 
he was familiarly called, was nearly 91 years of age, and retained his mental and 
physical faculties to a remarkable degree.  He was beloved by all who knew him, 
and has many sincere mourners beside his own kindred.
