The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, November 2, 1921

Mrs. S. M. Stebbins received word of the death of her brother, William Gibson, 
aged 83 years at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Hoxie, in Battle Creek.  
He was an old resident of Keene but has been in Battle Creek for the past 
year.  The funeral was held Tuesday at the home of his son, Andrew.  Burial in 
Easton cemetery.
