Rose Ann Gibson, 38, Grand Rapids, formerly of Belding, passed away Saturday,
Sept. 19, 1998, at Cheboygan from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
 She was born May 7, 1960, in Greenville, to Martin and Ellen Arnold Gibson. 
She was a graduate of Belding High School, class of 1978.

She is survived by one son, Shane Martin Rawlings of Allendale; her father and
step-mother, Martin J. and Marjorie Gibson of Belding; her brothers and sisters,
Linda Gibson, Cheryl Warner, both of Greenville, Glenna Scofield of Gowen, Vicky
and Larry Anthony of Lansing, Karen and Gordon Sanborn of Riverdale, Kim Geister
and her fiancé Greg Skaggs of Crystal, Martin C. and Dianna Gibson of Stanton,
Clarence Jr. and Sharon Scofield of Lakeview, Howard Scofield and his fiancée
Mary Ann Basney of Sheridan, Benjamin Scofield of Sturgis; several aunts,
uncles, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen, on
March 28, 1978; her grandparents, Cleon and Lyle Arnold, Lucille and Nellie Gibson.

Funeral services were Sept. 23 at the Johnson Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor
Kendall Harger officiating.  Interment was in Rest Haven Memory Gardens. 
Memorial contributions may be made to her son, Shane.
