The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, June 9, 1941
Funeral services in Ionia for Miss Blanche Bonnie Gibsone will be held at St. 
Johns Episcopal church Thursday at 11 o’clock a.m.  Rev. Henry A. Hanson, 
pastor of the church, will officiate.  

Miss Gibsone died at her home in Los Angeles last Tuesday morning and the body 
will be accompanied to Ionia by Mr. and Mrs. C. H. McKinley who left Ann Arbor 
for Los Angeles immediately after receiving word of the death.

Subsequent Publication:  Wednesday, June 11, 1941

The body of Miss Blanche Gibsone, former Ionia woman who died at her home in 
California last week, will be at the Stone funeral home from 7 p.m. Wednesday 
until 10 a.m. Thursday morning.  Funeral services are to be held from the St. 
John’s Episcopal church Thursday at 11 a.m.  Rev. Henry A. Hanson will 
officiate and interment will be held at Highland Park cemetery.
