Ionia Daily Sentinel – 22 November 1960
Mrs. Inez M.  Giddings, 78, of 1004 Jordan Lake Street, died Tuesday morning at 
DeWitt convalescent home in Hastings where she was a patient one day.   She was 
previously confined 10 days in Pennock Hospital.  Mrs. Giddings with her 
husband, Frank, had lived for a number of years on a farm in Campbell township 
before moving to their home in Lake Odessa.  Mr. Giddings died several years 
ago.  Mrs. Giddings was a member of the Congregational church.



She is survived by a sister, Nettie Layle of Hastings, and three brothers, 
George Layle of Hastings, Floyd of Webberville and Dorr of Lake Odessa.  The 
body is at the Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa where funeral service will 
be held Friday at 1:30 pm.  The Rev F. J. Fitch will officiate and burial will 
be at Lakeside cemetery.
