Lake Odessa Wave - Times - June 10, 1937
          LEE GIDDINGS DIES WED. A. M., FLORIDA
     Mr. and Mrs. Frank Giddlings here received word Tuesday morning that their 25
year old son Lee, who is 
employed at driving new motor trucks from Detroit to Bartow, Fla., for a Bartow
firm, was seriously ill with 
typhoid fever in a Bartow hospital.  Ms. Giddings, accompanied by Ronald Myers left
that afternoon by 
automobile for Bartow to be with his son.
    Later.---About 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon a telegram was received here from
Mr. Giddings at Bartow 
saying that his son had died at 12:45 Wednesday morning, that he was leaving this
evening with the body and 
expected to arrive home Saturday evening.
