Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. April 1, 1955

MRS. ROBERT GIERMAN DIED LAST WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Robert Gierman, 75, of Sebewa center, died at her home, Wednesday She 
was a lifelong resident of Sebewa and active in the Sebewa Center Methodist 
Church, where she was a charter member.

Before her marriage she attended Ferris Institute and taught at the Johnson 
and Sebewa Center schools. She was the former Nellie Meyers, daughter of the 
late Albert and Lydia Meyers.

Surviving are her husband, three sons, Charles of Grand Rapids, Wilfred at 
home and Maurice of route 3, Lake Odessa; two daughter, Mrs.Lloyd Jarchow and 
Miss Pauline Gierman both of Kalamazoo, one brother, Harry Myers of rural 
Sunfield and five grand children.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Sebewa Church Center Methodist 
Church at 4 p.m. with burial in the East Sebewa Cemetery.
