She had made her home here for the past eight years and was a victim of arthritis, but death was caused by a stroke which was suffered a few months ago. She was born May 17, 1883 in Otisco township and lived in Ionia for 85 years. Surviving are one son, Walter Gilbert of Lansing, two daughters, Mrs. Theodore Lambertson of this city and Mrs. Howard Nelson of Greenville, one sister, Mrs. Fred Jackson of Lake Odessa, four half sisters, Mrs. John Hunter and Mrs. Ada Richmond of this city, Mrs. Blanche Joslin of Muskegon and Mrs. Helen Hendricks of South Haven, two half brothers, George Irwin of Muskegon and Leonard Irwin of Colorado Springs, Colo., four grandsons and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held at Ellis Funeral Home, Wednesday at 2 o’clock with Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and burial was in the old Belding cemetery. Pallbearers were Theodore Lambertson, Walter Gilbert, Theodore Lambertson, Jr., and Howard Nelson.
