Ionia County News, 6 Mar 1941

Mrs. Margaret Gilberts, 90, wife of Henry Gilberts, a former resident of
Belding, died at her home in Flint, Tuesday, March 4. 

Mrs. Gilberts was born near Sharon, Penna., October 7, 1850.  She was united
with Mr. Cobb who died 30 years ago.  In 1921 she was married to Henry Gilberts
and they lived in Belding for about three years, then moved to Flint. 
Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Adrian Cobb, of Ionia, and a
daughter, Mrs. Blanche Vincent of Flint.  Also 13 grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.

Rev. Weldon F. Lane of the Church of God will conduct the funeral, which will be
held from Fales Funeral home at 2:00 Friday afternoon.  Burial in Old Belding
cemetery on M-44.
