The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, June 13, 1941
Louis Forman Gilleo, 89, Muir resident who has been confined to his bed for 
the past 17 years with a broken hip, died Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the 
home of his daughter, Mrs. Florence Harrison, of Muir.

He was born February 5, 1851 in New York state.  He moved to Michigan when 
still a young man and moved to Muir in 1898.  He was employed for many years 
as an attendant tat the Michigan state hospital.  He married Jennie Sherman.  
She died in 1930.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harrison, of Muir and Mrs. William Hefty of 
St. Johns; and one brother, Newton Gilleo of Spokane, Wash.  The brother is 
about 92 years old.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Shaw funeral 
chapel.  Interment will be at the Muir cemetery.
