Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 6 Jan 1961

Muir – William David Gillespie, 69, formerly of Pewamo, passed away Tuesday at
the Veterans hospital at Battle Creek.  He was born in Lyons township August 31,
1891 and had been a patient at the hospital 12 years.

He was the son of Winfield and Anna Gillespie.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home,
conducted by Rev. Reynders of the Pewamo Methodist church.  Burial will be in
the East Plains cemetery and services will be conducted there by the Walter T.
Roach post of Hubbardston.
