Ionia, MI- Harold R. Gillette, Jr., age 60, of Ionia, passed away Wednesday, 
January 11, 2012 in Ionia.

He was born February 27, 1951 in Highland Park, the son of Harold and Marian 
(Tomlian) Gillette.

Harold graduated from Lakewood High School in 1969 and from Aquinas College in 
1973 with a degree in business administration and worded as a design engineer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Gillette, Sr.; brother, Richard 
Gillette and grandson, Morgan. Surviving is his fiancé, Kim Mick; children, 
Nathan (Tammy) Gillette, Adam Gillette, Ashley (Mike) Wells, Mark (Katie) 
Mazzola; grandchildren, Jackson and Ethan Gillette; Dominic, Payton and Abigail 
Mazzola; mother, Marian Gillette, sisters, Cynthia Gillette, Patty Schoonmaker 
and Mary Gillette; special friend Kristine Gillette; Homer and Ginnie Jones; 
aunt, Nancy TenEyck; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Harold will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 
21, 2012 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 531 Jordan Lake St., Lake Odessa.

Memorial contributions in Harold's name may be directed to Ionia Area Hospice, 
P.O. Box 124, Ionia, MI 48846.
