Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Doris Rose Gilliland, 76, of Jacksonville, Ark., died Thursday, Feb 17.  Born 
Oct. 5, 1906 she was the daughter of Frank and Lena Rogers.  She attended Lowell 
and Saranac Schools and was married to Raymond Gilliland Dec 31, 1927 in 
Lansing.

She was employed as a secretary for the REO Manufacturing Co. in Lansing and by 
the McCartney Agency in Lake Odessa.  They moved to the Lake Odessa area in 1939 
and to Apache Junction, Arz., in 1971, and recently, to Jacksonville, Ark.

She is survived by her husband Raymond; one son, Richard of Jacksonville, Ark.; 
one sister-in-law, Mrs. Cecile Perin of Lake Odessa; four grandchildren; four 
great grandchildren; and three nephews.  Graveside services will be held 
Thursday at 11 am in Lakeside Cemetery, the Rev. James Hulett officiating.  
Arrangements have been made by Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa.
