Raymond F. Gilliland, 93, of Heber Springs, Ark., died December 27, 1994, at 
the Geriatrics Nursing Center in Heber Springs.  He was born April 7, 1901 in 
Belding, the son of Frank and Alice (Jackson) Gilliland.

He was a life member of the Masonic Lodge of Lake Odessa, a member of the 
Methodist Church and was a retired bookkeeper.  He had been a resident of 
Heber Springs since 1991.

He is survived by one son, Richard (Gail) Gilliland, of Heber Springs; four 
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  He 
was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Rogers) Gilliland, in 1983.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lakeside Cemetery in 
Lake Odessa.  Arrangements were handled by Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
