Ionia Sentinel Standard, 12 Oct 1988

Marie Kirby Gilmore, 79, of Muir, died Oct.7 at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.
 She was born May 16, 1909, in Portland, the daughter of Charles and Anna McLeod
Randall.  She was a retired employee of Chrysler Lyons Trim Plant.  She married
George Gilmore in Lyons in March of 1978.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Russell of Pewamo and Paul of Muir;
five daughters, Bette Ellis of Lyons, Helen Snyder of Lyons, Dixie Twiggs of
Ionia, Judy Hartman of Ionia, Darlene Eavey of Hubbardston; 27 grandchildren; 44
great-grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were October 10 at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir, with the Rev.
Paul Carmichael of Lyons Baptist Church officiating.  Burial was in Sunset
Memorial Gardens.
