The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, February 27, 1975

A former Ionia resident, Mrs. E. Ona Gilson of Elkhart, Ind. Died Wednesday 
afternoon at Elkhart.  She was born March 10, 1891, at Fountain.  She was 
married to Clinton Pickard and after his death she married Victor Gilson who 
died in 1965.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald Wright of Elkhart, four grandchildren, 
and nine great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Joanna Sayles of LaPort, Ind.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Stemm-Lawson funeral home at 
Elkhart, Ind.  Interment will be at Oak Hill cemetery, Ionia.
