GINEBAUGH LYONS-Charles C. Ginebaugh, 77, of 710 Innes street, Grand Rapids, died Friday, Feb. 5,at Butterworth Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. Mr.Ginebaugh had been in ill health for several years. He was born June 28, 1876 in Danby Township, the son of John and Eliza Ginebaugh. His wife was the former Rebecca Gamber and they had lived on a farm near Collins, south of Lyons, for many years. He operated a sawmill until 1951 when ill health force him to retire. Mr.Ginebaugh moved to Grand Rapids in 1941 and was a member of the First Methodist Church there. Surviving Mr.Ginebaugh are his wife, Rebecca; five daughters, Mrs.L.G. (Jean) Green,Mrs. K.W.(Ruth) Clapp, Miss Shirley Ginebaugh, all of Lansing, Mrs.Troy (Doris) Handley of Detroit, and Mrs. G.E. (Betty) Smith of San Mateo, Calif., two sons, Gilbert J. of Grand Rapids, and Airman 1-C William C. Ginebaugh of Laredo, Tex.; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Shaw-Rivett Funeral Home, Muir, with the Dr. Lester Kilpatrick, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Grand Rapids, officiating. Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.
