Loses Another Pioneer, Sunday John J. Ginnebaugh Passes Away Suddenly At Home Of Son, Near Collins The funeral of John J. Ginnebaugh, who died at the home of his son, Charles, who lives near Collins, Sunday morning, was held at the residence Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Vincent C. Webb officiating. He became ill while seated at the breakfast table and was helped to a couch, where he soon passed away. Mr. Ginnebaugh was born in Germany 85 years ago and came to this country when a small lad with his parents, settling near Ann Arbor, and then after a few years moved to Danby. He has lived in Portland township for several years and was a well-known and respected citizen of this county. Surviving are the two sons and one daughter, Leonard and Charles, and Mrs. Barbara Sumners, who lives at Ann Arbor. Mr. Ginnebaugh’s wife passed away about 15 years ago.
