Mrs. Ginnebaugh died suddenly Tuesday morning, Oct. 29, before Doctors Alton and Allen, summoned from Portland, could reach the farm near Collins where Mr. and Mrs. Ginnebaugh had lived happily since coming from Grayling 11 years ago. Two hours before her death Mrs. Ginnebaugh was chatting pleasantly with her husband, with no indication that the end was near. Just the evening before she had gone for an automobile ride and retired in the best of health. Tuesday morning she was slightly indisposed and though it was hardly deemed of sufficient importance to summon a physician, two were sent for when she began growing worse. Dr. Alton drove into the yard just as she breathed her last. Heart failure was the cause. Funeral services were held Friday at the house, Rev. W.W. Slee, of the M. E. church, officiating. Burial was in Portland. Among those present were Mrs. Wm. Tubbs, mother, and Mrs. James MacLean, sister, both of Ithaca. Mr. and Mrs. Ginnebaugh were married at Bay City 12 years ago and spent one year in Grayling, after which they moved to the farm where they have since resided. Their two children are Irma and Gilbert, aged 10 and 9 respectively. It was but a few weeks ago that Mr. Ginnebaugh lost a barn from fire, the origin of which was a mystery and the loss heavy.
