She had been in ill health all winter but her condition was not considered serious, and the summons came as a keen shock to members of the family and many friends. The obsequies took place at the Collins church Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. W. H. Skentelbury, of Portland, officiating, and the remains were brought to this place for burial. Mrs. Ginnebaugh’s maiden name was Flora Chipman. She was a daughter of the late M. J. Chipman and was born May 10, 1872, while her father was serving the government in an official capacity at Washington, D. C. The family returned to Portland when Mrs. Ginnebaugh was eight years of age and deceased had been a resident of this vicinity continuously since. Twenty years ago deceased was married to Len Ginnebaugh, who with four children, Fred, aged 17, John, aged 9, Margaret, aged 6, and Esther, aged 4, survive. There are three sisters, Mrs. Leon Williamson, of Lansing, Mrs. Clara Starks, of Scottsville, Mich., and Miss Ethel Chipman, of Pueblo, Colorado. Mrs. Ginnebaugh’s father died in Pueblo a little more than a year ago and was brought to Portland for burial Mrs. Ginnebaugh affiliated with the Congregational church while attending school here years ago and was an active member of the society until the duties of rearing a family developed upon her. She was of a kind and charitable disposition and universally admired by her neighbors. Her death naturally is a matter of sincere regret.
