The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, August 18, 1953

Marshall Gladding, 45, of Fenwick and formerly of Ionia, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 
at 11 a.m. at the Sheridan hospital of a heart attack shortly after being 
admitted.  He had returned from a trip to northern Michigan Saturday and was 
taken ill about 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Surviving Mr. Gladding are his wife, Isabelle; three sons, Max of Stanton, 
Jack of Fenwick and Robert at home; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Sinclair of 
Arizona and Pamela at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Gladding; and 
several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Fenwick Methodist 
church.  Burial will be in Shanty Plains cemetery.
