Esther M. Gladding, 91, of Fenwick, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at Metron of
Greenville.  She was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Ionia, the daughter of William and
Margaret Roth Kruger.  Mrs. Gladding was a longtime resident of the Fenwick area.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Gladding, on July 11, 1973;
one brother and three sisters.  She is survived by daughter, Joan and Gerald
Callan of Los Fresnos, Texas; son, Gerald and Joan Guernsey of Fenwick; five
grandchildren, Lori and Brian O’Connor, Gerald R. Guernsey, all of Grattan, Jane
and Dave Littlejohn, Robin Ann Hill, all of Seattle, Wash., Rollin and Josette
Hill of Tennessee; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday at Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan, with the
Rev. Jim Wilcox officiating.  Interment is in Clear Lake Cemetery, Fenwick.
