CAROL CLADDING, 75
Carol Lorraine Gladding, age 75, of Ionia, MI., passed away May 30, 2018.

She was born on January 23, 1943 in Muir, MI. the daughter of George and Clara
(Randall) Hodgman. She married Jack C. Gladding on May 23, 1962, he preceded her in death on 
July 29, 2002. Carol was a great cook and an avid sports fan. She loved collecting
Fenton and depression glass.

Surviving are her sons Mark (Joshua Magruder) Gladding of Washington, Douglas
Gladding of Ionia and Robert Gladding of Saranac; grandchild Max Costner-Gladding and sister

Vivian Harrell of Belding. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack,
brother Robert Hodgman and brother-in-law Ed Harrell.

Funeral services will be held at Lake Funeral Home in muir on Monday, June 4, at 11
a.m. with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Interment Lyons cemetery. Visitation will be
Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Ionia

Area Hospice or Commission on Aging. Online condolences may be made at
