                                PEARL W. GLADDING

Pearl W.Gladding, 73, lifelong resident of Fairplains Township, Montcalm County, 
died Wednesday evening on admittance to Sheridan Community Hospital. Mr.Gladding 
had suffered a heart attack.

He was married in 1907 to Maude Cutshaw, who died in 1954. Besides farming, 
Mr.Gladding was a Fieldman for Libby, McNeil and Libby Co. for 17 years and was 
a stock buyer and car salesman. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Ionia.

Surviving are five sons, Stanley of Belding, William of Fenwick, Ferd of Big 
Rapids, Richard of Fenwick and Cecil of Saranac, three daughters, Mrs.Hans 
Christensen of Kalamazoo, Mrs.Sam Stowell of Palo and Mr Fred McGowan of 
Greenville; one sister, Mrs William Lutherlow of Fenwick and 33 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Fenwick Methodist Church, 
with the Rev H.S. Ellis of Belding officiating. Interment will be in Clear Lake 
Cemetery. The body is at the Stebbins Funeral Home in Sheridan.
