The Portland Review & Observer, Thursday, January 15, 1959

Ora May Glassel, 77, was born in Jasper Co., Missouri on Sept. 4, 1831, died 
Jan. 7, 1959 in a Grand Ledge hospital.  Surviving are the husband, Theodore; 
two daughters, Mrs. Crystal Rollins of Coffeeville, Kan., and Mrs. Mildred 
Roberts of Gillett, Arkansas; three brothers, four sisters, several nieces and 
nephews.

Memorial services were held Jan. 10, 1959 at 2 p.m. from the Barker funeral 
home.  Clergymen were Rev. Herbert Starr and Rev. Wm. Starr of Lansing.  
Burial was in Danby Cemetery.  Bearers were W. L. Ide, Earl Pascel, Darwin 
Wooden, Ammi Pierce, Alva Warner and Albert Boucher.
