Greenville Daily News - Monday, March 5, 1979

BELDING- Donald M. Gleason, 88, 39 Belhaven, died Sunday at Belding Community 
Hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Gleason was born Dec. 5, 1890, at Hadley. He was a former resident of Capac 
and a retired supermarket owner. He was a member of Capac Baptist Church, life 
member of Forest Lodge No.126 F& AM, Capac, founder and life member of 
Hiawatha, Paradise, member of XYZ Club and Euchre Club.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ella Willing, whom he married May 4, 1912, 
at Lapeer; two daughters, Mrs. Gerls (Margaret) Wallace, Capac, Mrs. Donald W. 
(Barbara) Rhody, Belding; three brothers, Paul, Leesburg, Fla., Milton, Sun 
City, Fla., Arthur, Hadley; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Charles M. Courser Funeral Home, 
Belding, the Rev. Derwood Maylee and the Rev. Wilford D. Wood officiating. 
Interment will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens. 

Visitation at the funeral home will be today from 3 to 5:30 and 7 to 8:30.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alvah N. Belding Library.
