Death was caused by a heart attack. Mr.Gleason was born at Howard City, June 20,1890, the son of John and Nina Gleason and had lived here for the past six years. His entire residence in this area was over a period of 40 years. He was caretaker at Extruded-metals at the time of his passing and formerly he was a painter and decorator.He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars, and these orders participated in the last rites. He is survived by one son Warren, a junior in the local high school; one daughter,Mrs.Gertrude Middleton, of Port Huron; one brother Leon Gleason of this city and one sister, Mrs.Harry Kruger, New York and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock on Wednesday at Ellis Funeral Home with Rev.H.S. Ellis officiating and the burial was in the old Belding Cemetery. Pall bearers were Glen Gleason, Ray Jenson, Nate Bartholemew, Robert Jewell, Clifford Ort, Wilbur Howard and Warren Gleason. Additional Comments: Old Belding Cem.
