Gleason, aged 64 years, died at the home of her son, Raymond Gleason, 624 Turner Ave., Grand Rapids, Friday morning at about ten o’clock following an illness of about a year past. For the past month she had been at the home of her son in Grand Rapids and for a part of that time she had been receiving treatment in Blodgett hospital, but about a week before her death she was taken back to her son’s home. She, together with her husband, George R. Gleason, were well known and highly respected residents of this city, having lived in the same house, corner of James and Ann streets for more than 35 years. She is survived by her husband and son, Raymond, another son, Roy, having died about six years ago, since which time she has devotedly cared for a grandson which she took into her home at the time Roy and his wife died. The funeral was held in Grand Rapids at the home Monday morning, at ten o’clock and the remains were brought to this city and interred in the Belding cemetery.
