After an illness of nearly six years of tuberculosis, Roy A. Gleason passed 
peacefully away at his home on E. Ann street, Monday morning, March 3.  He was 
born in 1880 near Gowen, Michigan coming to this place at an early age, where 
he has since resided.  He married in 1906 to Miss Rose Germer of Pentwater, 
Michigan, one child blessing the union.

The deceased leaves to mourn besides his wife and son, his parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. George R. Gleason of this city, and one brother, Raymond Gleason residing 
in Grand Rapids, besides a large circle of friends.  

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home of his parents, E. 
C. Smith of Ravenna, Michigan, officiating.  Floral offerings were many and 
beautiful.
