The Belding Banner, Thursday, September 30, 1965


Henry Glockzin, age 82, died September 21 at Sheridan Community Hospital.  Mr. 
Glockzin was a retired teacher and former resident of Belding for 15 years.  He 
was born December 20, 1882 in Stanton.  He was a member of the Michigan 
Education Association, the National Retired Public School Employees Association 
and the Congregational Church.  He was also a life member of the Belding 
Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, the former Bernice Stockfod; one son, Everett, 
Riverside California; three sisters, Miss Mollie Glockzin, Mrs. Clara Perkins, 
McBride, and Mrs. Mildred Franklin, Seattle, and a brother, Albert of Appleton, 
Wisconsin.
