Ionia Sentinel Standard, 23 Apr 1941

Word was received in Ionia this week from Mrs. Malcom Wardrop of Mt. Pleasant 
of the death of her aunt, Mrs. Ruth Glosser, a former Ionia resident.  Mrs. 
Glosser died suddenly Friday, April 11, at her home at 448 Franklin street, 
Buffalo, New York, of coronary thrombosis.  She returned from a vacation in New 
York city on Monday evening, was stricken Tuesday morning and died early Friday.

She was the youngest sister of the late Mrs. William C. Steere and Mrs. 
Marjorie Streeter Smith, both former Ionia women.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 14, at Buffalo.  She is survived by 
her husband, Dr. Herbert A. Glosser, one son, Dr. John Glosser, who is 
associated with his father in Buffalo, and a daughter, Dr. Ruth Glosser, of 
South America.
