Pansey M. Glossi, 94, of Ionia, died Thursday evening at the Ionia Manor.  She 
was born November 12, 1898, in Easton Township, the daughter of Clyde and 
Bertha Mason Joslyn.  She married Romie (Galassie) Glossi on January 22, 1917, 
in Ionia and he preceded her in death in 1936.

She attended Dildine and Ionia Schools.  She lived most of her life in Ionia 
except from 1952 to 1985 when she lived on a farm in Dildine.  She was 
employed at Mitchell-Bentley for 25 years until retiring in 1963.  She was a 
member of the V.F.W. Blue Star Mothers Auxiliary and was a member of the 
Dildine Christian Reformed Church.

She is survived by three sons, Samuel of Cincinnati and Raymond and James of 
Ionia; six daughters, Marie Reamer of Lansing, Marian Kelly of Livonia, and 
Aline Colter, Dorothy Haney, Norma Westbrook and Jane Mann of Ionia; 13 
grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great 
great grandson; one sister, Ethel Wood of Ionia; and nieces and nephews.  She 
was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers, four sisters; and two 
grandchildren.

Funeral and committal services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Cook Funeral 
Home, with her grandson, the Rev. Thomas Glossi of Ft. Collins, Colorado 
officiating.  The family will be at the Rich St. Chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. 
Sunday and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Burial will be in the Easton Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mark Haney; Ronald 
and Jeff Reamer; Richard Kelly; and James, Ross, Mark and Rob Westbrook.  A 
memorial has been established for the Ionia County Memorial Hospital, in care 
of the funeral home.
