Ionia Daily Standard, April 30 & 2 May 1917

Nellie Glostrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Glostrick of Ionia township,
died Saturday night at the age of 17 years.  The funeral will be held Wednesday
morning at 9:30 at the Church of SS. Peter & Paul, with burial in Mount Olivet.
 The young lady, a good student, was a sophomore in the Ionia High school.

A very large congregation attended the funeral services for Nellie Glostrick at
the Church of SS. Peter & Paul this morning, about 70 of the students of the
public High school attending in a body.  Mass was solemnized by Rev. H.D.
McCarthy.  The bearers were Morris Defendorf, Larned Goodrich, Alex Montgomery,
Hazen Hinds, Alfred Haberstumpf and Tom Dingman.  Nellie Glostrick was the
17-years-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Glostrick of southeast Ionia
township.  She was  Junior in the High school here.
