Although he had been in failing health for two years, his condition was not believed to be critical and his sudden death was a great shock to his family and friends. Born August 5, 1892, on the farm which had always been his home, Mr. Glostrick attended SS. Peter and Paul Academy, a Detroit business school and M.S.C., East Lansing. He was a member of Ionia Council Knights of Columbus and Ionia B.P.O. Elks. Surviving relatives are his father, Thomas Glostrick, three brothers, Frank and Herbert, on the home farm, and Robert of Pontiac; two sisters, Ruth of Lansing and Luella of Bellvue. Father Henry A. Simon conducted the funeral from SS. Peter and Paul church at nine o’clock Thursday morning, November 2. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery beside his mother who died several years ago.
