We mourn the tragic loss of Steven “Travis” Goble, age 31 of Lake Odessa, a 
son, brother, father, friend and husband.

Steven “Travis,” was born in a snowstorm on March 20, 1983 to Steven J. and 
Connie Goble, had a heart bigger than any mud-truck.  He put his whole heart 
into loving his friends and family and was a genuinely kind-hearted man who was 
always ready to help fix your car or track a deer.

He was intensely loyal to those he loved.  The man affectionately known at Red” 
lived a simple life where his biggest joy came from raising his two sons.  We 
will miss his infectious laugh and his love for live.

Travis leaves behind his two sons, Chevy and Hunter; wife, Shree (Bonoite); 
parents, Steven J. and Connie; grandparents, Frank and Donna Layman; brothers, 
David, Christopher, and Evan; sister, Dr. Alissa (Kenton) Rauwerdink; and many 
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Pallbearers for the service were his sons Chevy and Hunter, brothers David and 
Evan, and close friends Dave Clyde, Kalvin Houghblack, Joe Wardell, and Jayson 
Grove.

Funeral Mass was at St. Edward Catholic Church in Lake Odessa, Friday, May 9, 
2014.  Steve will rest eternally in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery with 
previously departed family.

A fund has been established for the education of his sons, Chevy and Hunter, 
and donations can be made through the Rosier Funeral Home, PO Box 36, Sunfield 
MI  48890.  The family is being served by the Independent Family Owned Funeral 
home in Sunfield: Rosier Funeral Home.
