Belding Banner-News   Thursday May 11, 1961

                     SMITH GODFREY BURIED IN LOWELL

Smith R.Godfrey, age 64, son of the late Ernest Godfrey, and formerly of Belding; 
died in a Detroit Hospital May 5th, 1961. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs.Harold 
(Florence) C.Simons of Lansing and Mrs.Agnes Beard of California, two daughters 
and five grandchildren;. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery,Lowell, Mich.
