Thomas R. Goeree, 45, of Belding, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 15, 2002,
at United Memorial Health Center, Greenville.  He was born Aug. 9, 1956, in
Grand Rapids, the son of Martin and Wilma Moyer Goeree.

Thomas had worked for 23 years at Viatec in Belding.  He was a loving son,
father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and
motorcycles.  Thomas was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed listening to
country music and liked to attend the B-93 Birthday Bash.

He is survived by his mother, Wilma Hodge of Belding; his father, Martin Goeree
of Dover, Pa., his children, Windy Goeree of Morley, Richard and Buffie Goeree
of Newaygo, Corrine Musser of Belding; grandchildren, Ashley, Danniel and
Sawyer; his sister, Patricia Goeree of Grand Rapids; a niece, Nicole Goeree; his
grandmother, Alvretta Moyer of Lowell; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.  He
was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastor Ken Martin of Belding Bible Church officiating.  Interment
will be in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding.  Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m.
and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Belding Bible
Church.
