The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, June 23, 1989

George C. Goff, 66, of 279 Rowe, Portland, died June 22 at home.  He was born 
Ag. 28, 1922 in Eaton County, the son of Walter and Minnie Miller Goff.  He 
was a retired General Motors inspector, and also formerly was a shoe repairman 
in Portland.

He is survived by his wife Betty; two sons, John of Battle Creek and Thomas of 
Jackson; three daughters, Sue Goff of Portland, Peggy Ingraham of Eagle, and 
Kathleen Shafer of Okinawa; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Etta Goff of 
Lansing.

Funeral services will be June 24 at 1 p.m. from Neller Funeral Home, the Rev. 
Stanley Finkbeiner officiating.  Cremation will follow services.
