Goff, 80, of Portland passed away November 3, 2001. She was born in Riley Township Sept. 10, 1921 the daughter of Frank and Lena (Martin) Pung. Mrs. Goff was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lewis Pung. Surviving are her husband James W. Goff, with whom she married in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westphalia Feb. 14, 1942; children, David Goff, Dennis (Diane) Goff, Frank (Kathy) Goff, Charles (Janie) Goff, and Mary (Mathias III) Schueller; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther Nickel, Virginia Mitchell, Gladys Stump, Lucille (Delbert) Bohr, Patricia Snyder, and Helen Trierweiler; brother, Martin Pung; sisters-in-law, Esther Pung and Janet Wawernia; 42 nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Charles D. Hall, Pastor Nov. 6 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Arrangements were handled by the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
