DAVID VIKING GOLD
Lake Odessa, MI - David Viking Gold, age 67, of Lake Odessa passed after a brief 
illness at his home surrounded by his family.

Dave was born to Ralph and Gladys (Adams) Gold in Cedar Springs. He loved to be 
with is family, especially spending time doing things outside.

Dave worked for Meijer for 43 years. He was often seen walking Trigger and Thor, 
his beloved Labs around town. Halloween was the favorite time of year for Dave 
and he put on a very spooky display every years.

He will dearly missed by his wife, Nancy; children, Darla Gold and Jana (Aaron) 
Slisher; grandchildren, Chelsea, Sierra, MacKayla, Zoe, Zander, Zane and Zack; 
siblings, Jacqueline Gold and Randy (Rhoda) Gold; in-laws, Patricia Lacey and 
Michael Walston, along with several nieces and nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 at Koops Funeral Chapel from 3 
until 5 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 5 p.m.

Memorial donations may be given to MacKenzie's Animal Sanctuary 8935 Thompson 
Rd., Lake Odessa, Mi. 48849 or the Homeless Angel's P.O. Box 89, Grand Ledge, 
Mi. 48837
