Pleasant, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 under the care of his loving family and Ionia Area Hospice. He was born on November 7, 1942, in Lansing the son of Peter and Reva Marie (Hunt) Gollach. Thomas attended Lansing Area Schools and served his country in the United States Marines for one year. He worked in several capacities during his lifetime, including Housekeeping Supervisor for the state department of corrections. He married Ruth Anne Olger and she survives. Thomas loved camping and fishing, card games of all kinds, especially euchre and cribbage, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his wife, Ruth, he is survived by children, Tommy Gollach, Tammy Barrington, Jerry Gollach-Friel, Kathy (Robert) Sanborn and Bill (Karen) Wade III; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother Lawrence (Monique) Gollach; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter Madison; and siblings Bob, Jack, Jim, Richard and Pete. The family is planning private memorial services.
