Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 Nov 1957

Mrs. Dolores J. Gonzalez, 60, died in her sleep early Tuesday  morning at her
home on Fourth avenue and was found by her husband Cleofas about 6 o’clock.  A
local doctor was called and said Mrs. Gonzalez had been dead since about 2 a.m.
 She had been under doctor’s care for a heart condition.  A resident of Lake
Odessa the past 10 years, she came from Dolores, Texas where she was born July
4, 1897.

Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Longino and Faustino both of
Saginaw and Valentin of Lake Odessa, one sister and one brother both of Dolores,
Texas.

The body is at the Pickens funeral chapel where rosary will be recited Wednesday
evening at 8 p.m.  Requiem High Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Joseph
Dunphy Friday morning at 9 o’clock at St. Edward’s Catholic church and interment
will be in Lakeside cemetery.
