Lake Odessa Wave - May 5, 1982
          ALEJANDO GONZALES
   LAKE ODESSA -  Alejando Gonzales, 49, of 1615 Tupper Lake Street, Lake Odessa;
died April 27 in St. 
Lawrence Hospital, Lansing.
   He was born Jan. 31, 1933, in Encino, Texas, the son of Pablo and Georgia Silva
Gonzales, and moved with 
his family to Lake Odessa in 1946, where he attended Lake Odessa Schools.
   He married Shirly Wiser on August 2, 1952, in Lake Odessa.  For 27 years he was
employed by Fisher Body 
in Lansing.  He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3782.
   He is survived by his wife; two sons, David and Bruce of Lake Odessa; a daughter,
Mrs. Ralph (Beverly) 
Westbrook of Lake Odessa and four grandchildren.
   Also surviving are; his mother, Mrs. Georgia Gonzales, of Lake Odessa; two
sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) 
Vella of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Ephraim (Victoria) Ruiz of Laredo, Texas, and three
brothers, Oscar of Lake 
Odessa, Manuel Reyes of Pittsburgh, California and Damacio Gonzales of LaMesa,
Texas.
   Rosary was recited at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa, Sunday at 7
p.m..  Funeral mass was 
Monday at St. Edward's Church, Lake Odessa, at 10 a.m. Monday.  Burial was in
Lakeside Cemetery.
