Lake Odessa Wave - June 10, 1981
           PABLO (PAUL) GONZALES, JR.
   LAKE ODESSA - Pablo (Paul Gonzales), Jr., 50 of 7118 Jordan Lake Road, Lake
Odessa, died at his home 
June 5.
   He was born in Encinal, Texas, July 19, 1930, the son of Pablo and Gregoria
(Silva) Gonzales.  He attended 
McDonald Public Schools in Laredo, Texas.
   He moved to Lake Odessa with his family in 1945 and made his home there.  He was
married to Eva 
Gorodenski in Lake Odessa on Nov. 15, 1942.
   He retired Jan. 1, 1981, after working for 30 years at Fisher Body in Lansing.
   He was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Lake Odessa and of the Eagles
aerie in Woodland.
   He is survived by his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Judy Gonzales,
and three grandsons, Derek, 
Damon, and Garett of Hastings.
   Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pablo Gonzales Sr.: two sisters,
Mary Vary Vela of Lake Odessa 
and Mrs. Vicki Ruiz of Laredo, Texas; three brothers, Alex and Oscar of Lae Odessa
and Manuel Reyes of 
Pittsburg, Calif.
   Funeral mass was held June 8 at 1 p.m. at St. Edward's Church, Lake Odessa. 
Rosary was said at Pickens-
Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa at 7:30 p.m. June 7.
   Interment was in Lakeside Cemetery.
