The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 8, 1937

Mrs. John Gooby died Sunday morning March 7 at 3 o’clock at her home five and 
one-half miles north of Muir following an illness of ten days with pneumonia.

Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at one o’clock and 
at the Palo church at 2 o’clock.  Burial will be at the Palo cemetery.

Another Item:

Mrs. John Gooby died Sunday morning from plural pneumonia.  She was Minnie 
Brown before her marriage.
