Ionia Daily Sentinel - Thurs. Feb. 12, 1914

Mrs. Lucy Goodell died at 2 a.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.R. 
Bowen at the age of 80 years. she had been in failing health for several months 
but was confined to her bed but a few weeks. Funeral was held at the home 
Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial in Pinkney cemetery. Two daughters are left to 
mourn her death.
