Goodemoot, 79, widow of the late George A. Goodemoot, who died Tuesday evening in her home in West Sebewa township. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa. She was born in Randolph county, Indiana, February 10, 1865, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Peacock. They moved to Michigan when she was about four years old and had resided in the vicinity of West Sebewa since. Thursa A. Peacock was married to George A. Goodemoot, October 21, 1886, and Mr. Goodemoot died April 30, 1941. Surviving are three children, Allen J. Goodemoot and Vaughn E. Goodemoot who live on the farm home and one daughter, Mrs. Charles Andrews of Saranac; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. She was one of a family of nine children and is survived by one brother, Jason J. Peacock, Ionia county drain commissioner, of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Anna Steiner of Sheridan, Mont. Mrs. Goodemoot was a charter member of the Church of Christ.
