Hasting's Reminder - May 5, 2012
          MARIAN A. GOODEMOOT
   SEBEWA TWP. MI -  Marian A. Goodemoot, 83, of Sebewa Twp., Ionia county, passed
away Tuesday, May 1, 
2012.
   She was born November 5, 1928 in Lake City, the daughter of Louie and Flossie
(Schoolie) Shivlie.
   Marian was married to Richard Goodemoot on August 9, 1950 in Lake City and he
preceded her in death on 
December 25, 2008.
   Marian had worked as a music teacher before retirement and traveled to area
schools.  She was a member 
of the West Sebewa Community Club.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; brother, Lawrence
Shivlie; sister, Betty 
Shivlie.
   Surviving are her children.  Kenneth (Teri) Goodemoot Keith Goodemoot, Jane (Tim)
Taylor, and Kendall 
(Missy) Goodemoot; grandchildren, Corey Goodemoot, Darby (Dawn) Goodemoot, Lynsey
(Derick) 
Evangelista, Richard Goodemoot, Justin Taylor, Brandon Goodemoot, Alex Goodemoot,
Skyler Goodemoot,, 
Alauna Goodemoot, and Houston Wells; great grandchildren, Josh Goodemoot, Cedir
Goodemoot, Greysen 
Goodemoot, Gerrit Goodemoot, Chloie Evangelista, Domonic Evangelista, Anthony
Taylor, Janie Taylor, Bryce 
Goodemoot and Axen Goodemoot; sister-in-law, Elsie Shivlie; brother-in-law, Merle
(Virginia) Goodemoot; 
special neighbors, the Bearley family; numerous nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services for Marian were conducted on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Koops
Funeral Chapel - Lake Odessa. 
Interment followed at Lakeside Cemetery,  Lake Odessa.
