Roger M. Goodemoot, 43, of Lake Odessa died Nov. 21 at Blodgett Memorial 
Medical Center.  He was born July 7, 1946, in Lake Odessa, the son of Myron 
and Lois McCaul Goodemoot.  He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1964, 
and was married to Beth Barnhill on Oct. 26, 1966, in Mulliken.

He was employed by Montague Plumbing and Heating, Bill’s Citgo and Seabrook 
Foods, and was also a farmer.  He was a past member of the Elks.

Surviving are a son, Ryan Goodemoot of Belleville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Myron Goodemoot; three sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Barbra) Sauers and Mrs. Philip 
(Nancy) Potter of Lake Odessa and Jerri Goodemoot of Indiana; two brothers, 
Gary of Williamston and Mark of Lake Odessa; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles 
and cousins.  A son, Roger, preceded him in death in 1981.  

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa, with the Rev. Keith Laidler officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeside 
Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral chapel Wednesday and Thursday 
from 7 to 9 p.m.  A memorial for the family has been established in care of 
the funeral chapel.
